Public Relations

Our Public Relations Department is responsible for educating the public on fire safety issues. We also offer fire station tours, use of our meeting room and public appearances at special community events.

We do however; ask that a PR request form be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance. A PR representative will then contact you to schedule your event. Westlake will make every effort to fulfill your request, but cannot guarantee your request will be granted. Please give our dept. 48 hours to get in contact with you.

What does this mean to you? Well it means that at times we may not make your event or have to leave unexpectedly due to an emergency. At those times we hope you understand and thank you for your continued support.

We have made the use of submitting a PR request form so that we can still perform PR events in our community, but not over burden our volunteers.

**Due to the heat during the summer months, June – August, we will be limiting outside PR events to (1) hour**
